We would like to keep our families in tune with our encore program and share some snippets of all of the wonderful things that academically enhance the growth and development of your child. Each class is designed to educate and spark interest in various areas. The classes that are being implemented are Music, Physical Education, Health and Wellness, Art, Guidance, and we have now added a ROBOTICS program. Beginning with the basics and gradually accelerating in Kindergarten through 5th Grade in areas that children love! We can’t wait to share more information throughout the school year and share fun photos during your child’s time in encore.
STEAM helps prepare children for real life through hands-on and inquiry-based learning. In STEAM challenges, one may fail the first time (or twenty), but you learn to persevere. It is our job at Walton Academy to give your child the tools to keep going, to think outside the box, and to apply the insight they learn along the way. As Thomas Edison once said, “Many of life’s failures are people who did not realize how close they were to success when they gave up.”
